Why should I get a Personal Trainer?

Personal training offers a safe, custom education, personalized fitness plan, a spotter for your exercises, accountability and a motivator and faster results.

What are the benefits of stretching?

Stretching can improve range of motion, increase your flexibility, increase blood flow, improve posture, and prevent injuries.

Why am I not losing when I am working out?

Losing weight typically comes down to such factors as hydration levels, daily caloric intake, exercise habits, and meal times.

Drinking water naturally suppresses appetite, and can even help your body burn calories faster, while . Limiting your daily caloric intake can also contribute to weight loss, and doesn’t necessarily have to involve eating less food. Eating more vegetables and high nutrient foods can provide you with the calories you need without leaving you hungry. Varying the exercises you do can substantially contribute to losing weight as well. Finally, staggering your meals so that you eat large, high protein breakfasts, and smaller dinners can also contribute to ensuring you’re burning calories instead of sleeping on them.

Should I bring my own mat?


Should I bring my own water?

You can, most of our clients do. We also have bottled water available for sale in case you forget, and a water cooler for refills.

What are the benefits of staying hydrated?

Staying hydrated helps muscles and joints to work more efficiently, promotes cardiovascular health, improves stamina, allows you to sweat more, and even keeps your skin healthy.

What should I wear to workout?

Comfortable, breathable gym clothing and sneakers.  For Pilates sessions, you will need toe socks in the studio. We do ask that you refrain from wearing any aftershave, perfumes and scented lotions.

What time should I arrive for my small group personal training sessions?

Generally 5-10 minutes early.  Prompt arrival is requested as to not disturb the rest of the members and the session in progress.

How long are my small group personal training sessions?

45 Minutes


Small Group Personal Training Cancellations are 12 hours.  All cancellations must be completed on Mindbody.

What if a session I scheduled is cancelled?

We’ll contact you directly if for some reason your session has been postponed or cancelled.

What is a Virtual Personal Training Session?

Our Virtual Personal Training sessions are an extension of your in-studio workouts…just at home or anywhere you may travel…(business trip, vacation)

Is it the same as working out in person?

You’re still going to get all of the great benefits of working out with us including:

  • In-depth health, fitness assessment and posture assessment
  • Customized, goal oriented fitness programming tailored to your abilities
  • Motivation from a degreed exercise physiologist and or certified personal trainer
  • Live feedback, motivation and accountability
  • Analysis and feedback of your movement and form

What’s different than being in-studio?

The location, we utilize the space you have at home. The equipment. We work with whatever equipment you currently have, even if that’s just your own body.

What makes Virtual Training a better option for me and my family ?
